This is one of the most unique pianos we have seen in a while. It is a “harpsichord style” baby grand piano built by J & C Fischer in 1929. It is generally considered that pianos built before the Great Depression were some of the most well made pianos in history. Note that there are some parts of the legs and trim that are missing in the photos, but we have all the missing parts. When it is restored, all of this carving will be replaced immaculately. The piano is mahogany, and can be done in either reddish or brownish stain. The shape of the piano is a bit unusual. The extreme left side of the piano is 5 feet 3 and 3/4 inches long, but the right side of the tail is only 5 feet long. The tail of the piano is not squared off straight, but is at a bit of an angle like a harpsichord. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired. An original matching bench is included.
