Historically, most large concert grand pianos were built for institutional use, not for the home. As a result, clients who are in the market for a large concert grand piano will be overwhelmed by the availability of plain, black concert grand pianos on the market. Elegant and beautiful concert grand pianos are few and far between, and this piano is no exception.
This piano, although suited for the concert stage, was likely built for an extravagant home of the period where music was the center of social life. Built by Henry F. Miller of Boston, this instrument is made of beautifully carved cherry wood, and although it is unmistakably Victorian, it has clean, elegant lines. This piano is being restored to perfect condition, and would be well suited for a large period music room or Victorian parlor.
Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired. A matching stool is included.
