This piano was built by the famous Steinway & Sons Piano Company in 1872. This instrument is shown here before restoration. The case is made of stunning rosewood which was stripped off by it's previous owner, who also began to paint the piano white! It is of the desirable cabriole leg style with carved music rack and pedal lyre. The ivory keyboard is good enough to be restored rather than replaced, but the piano will require internal restoration, which is included in the sale price. This piano has all indications of being a wonderful sounding piano after restoration. A matching antique stool is included. This piano can be fitted with the computerized player mechanisms if desired.
