This piano was built by the famous Ivers & Pond Piano Company of Boston, and is made of beautifully finished burled cherry. The case is a late Eastlake Victorian Style, with beautifully carved engravings and turned legs. Although this piano is a full sized upright piano, it has a very dainty, petite look to it in person. This piano is being restrung, refinished, and internally rebuilt. It still has its original ivory keys, which are in good condition, though they are slightly yellowed with age. It has a nice brilliant tone, which has been described as warm and soothing to listen to. This piano can be fitted with a computerized player system if desired.
