Vose & Sons was one of the premier piano builders of New England. Established in Boston in 1851, Vose & Sons pianos were produced until 1982, over 130 years! That is a testament to their quality. This piano is one of the most unusual and elaborately carved Louis XV style upright pianos we have ever seen. It is very dainty and feminine in appearance, not heavy and masculine like most pianos from this era. It is made of beautiful mahogany wood, and will be restored to like new condition inside and out. Note that the bottom panel, which is not in the photos, is present and will be replaced in restoration. This piano can be equipped with a computerized player mechanism is desired.
