This is an unusual upright piano built by the Poole Piano Company of Boston in 1914. Note the beautiful Federal style ornamentation along the top of the front panel. During this era, Boston was home to some of the finest piano builders in the world. Poole built high quality, costly pianos from 1893-1982...nearly a century. This piano is made of stunning burl cherry wood, and it has uniquely shaped rounded sides and corners. This piano has all indications of being a fantastic instrument after restoration. This piano can be equipped with a computerized player mechanism is desired.
